The question has been asked:  What is a ScanIn?  In simple words, a ScanIn is where ScanAtlanta.com hosts a tour of a communications center (911, TV, airport tower, etc), and then a buy your own meal either after or before.  It is open to anyone who would like to come, families are welcome!

From our July 1999 ScanIn1!  We started out small, just a few of us getting together for dinner, but are working towards bigger outings!

ScanIn3.5 was held at the grand opening of the Cobb 911 Center, December 1999.  It was a short notice ScanIn, but for all the people who came, we had a great time touring the center!  Click HERE for more ScanIn3.5 pictures!

The October 2000 ScanIn4 was the Gwinnett 911 Tour and the downing of a couple of cows and pigs at Sonny's BBQ!  PLUS the 1st BC780XLT on display!  For more on ScanIn4, click HERE!

We joined the Metro Fire Association (MFA) for a breakfast at the East Point Fire Station 2/3 and we all took a tour of the East Point 911 Center!  For more photo's, click HERE!

Thanks to the Smyrna Police Department for hosting the 6th of many ScanIn's.  All there had a great tour of the E911 Center & SFD Station 1.  And lot's of pizza as well!  View ScanIn6 HERE!
